At 11:19 this morning a 29 year old male entered the Scotiabank at 1658 Bedford Highway, in Bedford Place Mall. He jumped over the counter and attempted to take money from the cash drawers. COLD TEMPERATURES HIT BEDFORD!

The thermometer this morning recorded a very chilly temperature of -23 degrees celcius, and the high for today is only expected to reach -15. Many in the province are experiencing even colder temperatures. In Truro residents are dealing with -25 degrees, and Amherst recording -28, according to Environment Canada.
