ANOTHER WINTER STORM IS HERE

Winter started early this year, and it hasn’t let up. We have had countless very cold days, and many snowstorms. Keep your shovels handy today, another winter storm is here!

As Environment Canada issues another winter storm warning, schools in Halifax Regional Municipality and throughout much of Nova Scotia have been cancelled. Please not that Bedford Skating Club programs at the LeBrun Centre have been cancelled, along with any activities taking place at any of the schools around Bedford.

“A low pressure centre moving up the U.S. eastern seaboard will become a winter storm and track near Cape Breton tonight”.

Rain, snow, ice pellets and freezing rain are expected…a whole mixture of good old Maritime weather! Anywhere between 15cm to 25cm of snow are expected to fall before it is all over.
