Bedford Days 2010 run until July 1.

Come out and enjoy the events. There is something for everyone – food, fireworks, outdoor movies, Beerfest, 5k Run, and much much more. Don’t miss out!

TUESDAY, JUNE 29

Youth Night

Location: DeWolf Park
6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Entertainment: Dj Skratch Bastid & Youth Bands

You asked for it, we answered! Bedford Days youth night will feature performances by local youth and entertainment by Bedford’s own Skratch Bastid.

Skate jam also going on at Dewolf park, from 6 to 9 p.m. Helmets required!

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 30

Summer Reading Program Kick-off Party

Calling all kids! Kick-off this year’s Summer Reading Program by dropping into the Bedford Public Library anytime between 10 am and 11:30 am. Register for this fabulous program while enjoying games, crafts, prizes, cake and juice (Ages 5+).

Canadian Blood Services Clinic

Canadian Blood Services will be holding a special blood donor clinic as part of Bedford Days at the Bedford Legion. There will be hot dogs and live entertainment. You must be 17 to donate. To make an appointment please call 1-888-2-DONATE.

THURSDAY, JULY 1

Pancake Breakfast

Location: DeWolf Park
8:30 am – 10:30 am

What better way to start Canada Day off than by coming down to DeWolf Park for a Free pancake breakfast provided by the wonderful staff of the Sunnyside Too Restaurant. There will be pancakes for everyone while quantities last.

Teddy Bear Picnic

Location: DeWolf Park
11:00 am – 1:30 pm

Teddy Bears deserve their own fun too. Bring your favourite stuffed buddy to a picnic in their honour. Bearametic will be there to make sure your bears are fit and healthy. There will also be children’s entertainment, face painting, and more for you and your teddy bear to enjoy! Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids will be at DeWolf Park making sure you look your best for Canada Day. Hot dogs will be served until quantities last.

Canada Day at Scott Manor House

1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Come join us on Canada Day for the opening of Scott Manor House and Tea Room. Meet at 1:00 pm for a guided historic walk through Bedford (easy 1 mile walk) and at 2:00 pm for the performance of the Harmony Barbershop Quartet while enjoying tea and oatcakes in the tea room.

Bedford Days Canada Day Celebrations!

Location: DeWolf Park
6:00 pm: Glow Parties Bouncy Castles
Arrive before 7:00 pm and beat the line-ups for the Glow Parties Playground Extravaganza.
7:00 pm – 10:00 pm: Entertainment by Crossfire
10:00 pm: Fireworks

Take part in our Canada Day festivities and enjoy entertainment by Crossfire and a performance by the Kitpu Youth Dancers. Be sure to take in the fireworks show, co-sponsored by Clayton and Cresco and the Parks of Bedford West.

Lost Kids Tent

There will be a Lost Kids tent at Bedford Days for parents looking for missing children. The tent will be near the stage, marked with a flashing amber light. A Bedford Days committee member will be inside to tent to assist parents and children.
