Dear Bedford Friends, Neighbours,
& Colleagues:
Thank you very much for your support on May 3! It’s a truly humbling experience when so many people express faith in you; both Sandra and I have been very moved by the many calls and notes we’ve received.
I have had conversations with many HRM Councillors and have been overwhelmed by their support and their offers to work collaboratively for the betterment of Bedford and HRM. I have established an advisory and transition team on issues such as tax reform, policing, and recreation facilities. I have already had numerous meetings with HRM and the Rocky Lake Development Association on the new rink and other recreational facilities. Action must be taken immediately by either HRM or the private sector in order for these facilities to be ready for next fall.
Once again, thank you for your support. It’s a great honour to represent you on HRM Council, and I look forward to working for you and with you.
Sincerely,
Tim
