DAVID FINLAYSON FOR HALIFAX REGIONAL SCHOOL BOARD

During the question period by Halifax Chamber, David Finlayson is quoted as saying: “I believe that I can bring a lot to the table as far as managerial and business experience. I have seen a large gap in our community and if the students and children are not being served with an excellent education in school and in life, then the future of the community will not be as rosy as it could be.

This will be a very focused four year commitment with an aim to work in a productive school board and make a positive impact in the community.”

Engage the community in the crucial development of our students.
Engage politicians to make our students a high priority for all levels of government.

Inspire students to reach new heights and dream big.
Inspire students to believe in their future.
Inspire teachers to continually lean and develop their skills.
Inspire a respect for diversity and technology.
Inspire good citizenship by our students and recognize outstanding contributors to HRM.
