Portion of Bedford generally in the area of Paper Mill Lake between the Bedford highway and the Bicentennial Highway

Effective Friday, July 11th and thereafter, those areas described below will receive garbage/green cart/recyclables collection on a new day.

The following area, currently receiving collection on TUESDAY will be affected:
Both sides of the Bedford Highway from the former Town of Bedford/City of Halifax boundary including sde streets such as Millview Ave. and Glenmont Ave. West side of Bedford Highway from approximately Southgate Dr. to the intersection with the Hammonds Plains Rd. and all side streets running west including Nelsons Landing Blvd., Moirs Mill Rd. and subdivision streets such as Oceanview Dr., Royal Masts Way, Millrun Cres., Baha Crt., Ahmadi Cres., etc. West side of Hammonds Plains Rd. from the intersection of Bedford Highway to the intersection of the Bicentennial Highway including Lake Dr. and Mill Crt., and including Brookshire Crt.

The next regular collection for the area as noted will be Friday, July 11th (garbage/recyclables).

YOUR NEW COLLECTION DAY WILL BE FRIDAY

Please be advised that collection times will be subject to change. To ensure collection please place your materials curbside by 7:00am.

This change is necessary to enhance timeliness of the municipal collection service and to balance the number of households serviced by the contractor on each collection day.
