Police issue public advisory about suspicious man

Halifax Regional PoliceHalifax Regional Police are advising residents in Bedford about a suspicious man and two recent break and enters.

On May 20, there were two reports of residential break and enters in the Bedford area. On that same day there were also reports of a man going to homes, knocking on doors and asking the residents for directions.

There is no information to link the man to the break and enters but his behaviour is suspicious to police.

The man is described as being in his late 30′s or early 40′s, tall, thin, well dressed, clean shaven with salt and pepper hair. He was seen driving an older model light gray/silver Mercedes-Benz with a Nova Scotia license plate.

Halifax Regional Police are investigating the incidents and would ask anyone with information to contact police at 490-5016 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
