Halifax Regional Police is currently recruiting volunteers for its Burnside Watch program. Burnside Watch is a group of dedicated volunteers who give of their time and talents in an effort to prevent crime in the Burnside Business Park and Dartmouth Crossing areas. Working in cooperation with Halifax Regional Police, the group conducts random patrols both day and night and reports suspicious activity to police.
Citizens interested in volunteering are asked to contact HRP’s Volunteer Programs Coordinator at 490-6976.
