Attention Parents:
Help determine the future of
Bedford South School!

The Halifax Regional School Board is undertaking a long range planning process regarding the future of all schools in Halifax Regional Municipality called Imagine Our Schools (see article below).

If you have an opinion on the future of Bedford South School, please make every effort to attend the next community consultation meeting. We also encourage you to inform neighbours with children yet to enter the school system.

With the continued population growth of the area Bedford South School serves, many possible scenarios  could play out in the upcoming years, including, but not limited to:

-Boundary review
-Elimination of Late French Immersion
-Conversion to an elementary school
-Conversion to a junior high school
-No change

Now is the opportunity for your opinion to be heard! The next community consultation meeting will be held:

Thursday, January 22nd, 7-9pm
Basinview School, 273 Basinview Drive
(Approximately a 3-minute drive from Bedford South School)
