NOTICE OF PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETING-BEDFORD SOUTH

A public information meeting will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2008, beginning at 7:00pm at Basinview Drive Community Elementary School, 273 Basinview Drive, Bedford, NS, to discuss the following applications:

Case No. 01159-Application by Clayton Developments Limited to enter into a development agreement to permit a residential subdivision and commercial development for Neighbourhoods D,E and commercial lands of Bedford South (PID#s 40834103 and 40288128), Bedford.

Case No. 01194-Application by Clayton Developments Limited, on behalf of Cresco Holdings Limited and 3030726 Nova Scotia Limited, to enter into a development agreement to permit a residential subdivision for Neighbourhood F and commercial lands of Bedford South (PID#s 00289165 and 40176024), Bedford.

The purpose of the meeting is to receive feedback regarding the above-noted applications. The proponent will be present to discuss the proposals. Planning staff will also be present to discuss the process and the applications with respect to the provisions of the Secondary Planning Strategy and Land Use By-law for Bedford South.

The meeting is open to anyone who wished to attend to seek information about the proposals or express any comments which they may have.
